Monsieur Cabinet is an illustrator, designer and educator currently living in York. Since graduating from Kingston University with a degree in Illustration and Animation,
he has worked on a broad range of projects for an international client base that includes the New York Times Magazine, DKNY and The Huffington Post.
Precise line drawing is the basis of Monsieur Cabinet’s work. He considers himself an advocate of subtlety and simplicity, and he often distils concepts into minimal forms.
Though concise, his images are rich in content, incorporating humour or observing the beauty in the more mundane aspects of everyday life.
When Dave is not illustrating in his studio, he teaches Graphic Design at Leeds College of Art.
He is also a visiting lecturer at Kingston University, London
